  1. राष्ट्र ध्वज हर देश के लिए आन – बान और शान का प्रतिक होता है तथा हर देश के राष्ट्र ध्वज की अपनी एक पहचान होती है !
  2. भारत का भी एक राष्ट्र ध्वज है जिसे तिरंगे के नाम से जाना जाता है क्योंकि यह तीन रंगों से मिलकर बना होता है !
  3. भारत का राष्ट्र ध्वज केसरियां , सफ़ेद और हरे रंग से मिलकर बना है जिसमे सबसे ऊपर केसरियां रंग आता है बीच में सफ़ेद और निचे हरा रंग आता है !
  4. केसरियां रंग शोर्य का , सफ़ेद रंग शांति का तथा हरा रंग हरियाली का प्रतिक है !
  5. तिरंगे का आकार आयताकार के रूप में बना हुआ है जिसकी लम्बाई और चोड़ाई का अनुपात 3 : 2 है !
  6. तिरंगे की सफ़ेद पट्टी के बीच में एक नीले रंग का चक्र बना हुआ है जिसे अशोक चक्र के नाम से जाना जाता है !
  7. इस अशोक चक्र में 24 तीलियाँ होती है !
  8. तिरंगे को राष्ट्र ध्वज के रूप में अपनाने से पहले इसमें 6 बार बदलाव किया गया था !
  9. तिरंगे को राष्ट्र ध्वज के रूप में मान्यता 22 जुलाई 1947 को मिली थी !
  10. यदि देश में कोई राष्ट्र शोक होता है तो उस समय यह आधा झुका हुआ रहता है !
